These are videos that I believe could be of great interest to you.
They are what I believe to be of varied and interesting as well as 'healthy' subjects including various genre concerts around the world from famous virtuosos, popular artists and performing groups along with trends that 'someday' you will remember what you were taught 'back at HMB.'
I also figure that you may never see some of these performances 'live' in your lifetime, so let's watch them today!
There will also be documentaries, unique historical teaching sessions as well as individual presentations of many 'unique' musical instruments and other interesting musical creations. You will be observing programs with different styles and genre's of music from all sorts of types of performers, etc.
In other words, hopefully these videos will not be 'boring' to you.
And finally, I certainly do not 'expect' you to 'like' or 'learn to like' each one of these video programs - but you must be willing to allow yourself to be challenged to grow in your maturity and critical thinking skills during any discussions that might possibly follow these 'video presentations.'
Interesting YouTUBE'ings:
Watch these videos as listed and assigned; we will then compare notes and discuss.
Take pencil scribble notes without losing focus or concentration on the video.
Redo your scribbled notes to email and then send me those final notes in email format - easy to read, point by point.
We will then do a final review in class will finish with a final daily quiz based on all the class notes.
